The girl’s golf team is putting in the time and effort, to make this season a successful one.

Each day, after school, the girls are out practicing. Varsity practices for about two and a half hours. JV is  also out working for about two hours on the course. Members of the golf team put their practice in at local public course Washoe. The girls on the team, have to get their own rides out to the course.

With all the time they spend at practice and games, the team really has a chance to get to know each other. The girl’s ages all range from freshmen to senior. This really gives them the opportunity to interact with new girls.

“We all have really bonded. Since we spend so much time together, our team is like a family,” freshmen Amy Murph said.
