September 11 is one of the most remembered days in the United States, but that day was also a memorable day for the varsity football team.

The team took on Douglas last Friday night. It was the homecoming game so there was a massive crowd at the game along with the same turn out at the pep rally.

“It was so much fun walking from the quad with all my friends to the football field,” senior Kaley Gunter said. “Especially since it was our last home game ever.”

The boys won 46-7 after various players scored the touchdowns. Senior Isaac Terrasas threw for two of those touchdowns and was 5-8 for 87 yards. He also rushed three times for 15 yards. Terrasas was also nominated for Player of the Week on the Reno Gazette Journal.
